Sweat Reduction
Sweat is produced by sweat glands, which are small glands located beneath the skin. These glands are activated by signals from the nervous system, causing them to secrete a fluid made up of water, salt, and other substances. This fluid then travels through ducts to the surface of the skin, where it evaporates, cooling the body. Sweat production is an important mechanism for regulating body temperature and can be influenced by factors such as exercise, stress, and temperature.
What is Sweat Reduction?
Sweat reduction treatments assists with individuals that produce an excessive amount of sweat produced by the sweat glands.

Botulinum Toxin
Botox, or botulinum toxin, can be used to reduce sweating by blocking the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which is responsible for stimulating sweat gland activity. When injected into the skin, botox binds to the nerve endings that control the sweat glands, preventing them from releasing acetylcholine and reducing the amount of sweat produced. This effect is temporary and typically lasts for several months before the body metabolizes the botox and new nerve endings are able to take over the sweat gland stimulation.
